Emory's Nursery Accessories

From the moment I found out I was going to be an aunt I was filled with the many ideas of things I would make for my niece or nephew (my brother and sister-in-law did not find out what they were having - SUPER fun!).  First I thought I would take up knitting and make the baby a baby blanket, then I thought I would learn to use the sewing machine and make clothes for the baby....then I thought I would stick with what I know and cross stitch the baby a crib quilt.  It was a true labor of love.

When we were growing up and would go on trips my brother and I would curl up in the back of the minivan with our baby blankets our great aunt, Louise, had made us.  I thought that this baby would need something to keep him warm on road trips to come!  Here is the finished product:

I also thought the baby would need something for the walls of the nursery so I thought about making something from the covers of children's books:

William Emory Huggins was born on January 8, 2011 and is a beautiful spitting image of his loving, wonderful parents.  I have a feeling that this baby is going to be the inspiration to many more projects in my future!

  1. Yeah Kids need a child friendly environment to grow and develop both mentally and physically. So why not provide your little one with a good Nursery Accessories and clean, hygienic, yet attractive and enjoyable space in the house.
