Taco Mamacita

Last night turned into one of those nights that started out as a normal Wednesday night, when I made dinner, watched a little tv and then realized I was bored out of my mind!  That quickly changed when I texted my roommate to see what she was up to and it turned out she was meeting some friends at Taco Mamacita and invited me to come have a margarita with them.  As the friends she was meeting are tons of fun the twisting of my arm to get off the couch didn't take long!  I was there in a flash with a Margarita on its way by the time they ordered their food.  I can honestly say I think I laughed more during this dinner than I have in a long time.  The place was slammed packed (2 for 1 margaritas will do that you know), the atmosphere lively and energetic and the food delicious!  Located in the Edgehill Village, one of my new faves, Taco Mamacita provides all you could want out of such an establishment....delicious margaritas, incredible cheese dip (I would venture to say the best in town and that is saying a lot coming from this girl) and a wide variety of menu items from which to choose!  If none of the tickles your fancy then the people watching is definitely worth a trip to the up-and-coming Nashville neighborhood!

As you can see by the time I got there the guacamole (made fresh daily) and the queso looked like chip graveyards!
So this part was super fun....they poured the soup at the table.
As Momma always says, presentation is everything!
Don't worry, I ordered more queso....for the picture of course!

All in all it was a great meal, awesome drinks and a fantastic time had by all!
