Chex Party Mix

This is another one of those recipes that my family has made every year at Christmas time.  My mom always takes it to my great aunt and uncles house on Christmas night and it is something with which I have always associated with Christmas!  I am fully aware that it is available all year long and that it is actually available at every gas station from here to kingdom come but it's not the same, but then again, nothing is quite as good as when Mom makes it!  The same can be said with a peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, my aunt's chicken noodles soup and my grandmother's cottage cheese/olive spread (don't judge, it is delicious).  For years we simply followed the recipe on the back of the Chex box but after a few years we made some revisions so here is our adapted recipe for Chex Party Mix!  Merry Christmas Y'all!

Chex Party Mix

1 box Rice Chex
1 box Wheat Chex
1 box Corn Chex
2 cans mixed nuts
1 can cashews
1 bag pretzels
Garlic flavored garlic bagel chips
2 sticks butter
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons seasoned salt
Melt butter in a microwave safe container.
Add Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder and seasoned salt.

In a large (and I mean big....maybe even two separate large bowls) combine cereal, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips.
Pour sauce over the cereal mixture and toss to coat.  Store in an air tight container.
We made so much we were able to fill all four of these containers!
I just thought this was funny....this is my dear friends, Michael and Amber's dog, Rosie....she is one of my favorites and I absolutely LOVE it when she comes to play with us!
If you are wondering, that is her Christmas bone I gave her...clearly she doesn't want Annie to get it as she is currently sleeping with it under her paw!
