Chili's Skillet Queso

There may have been times in my life when I would order this cheese dip to go with nothing else....yep, I would just order the queso dip and that would be considered lunch!  Of course I was also the girl in high school who would get an ice-cream cake from Baskin-Robbins and get them to put my name on it so that I could have that while I studied for exams.  I realize that these are not the healthiest of choices and so that I can usually fit into my clothes these are not regular habits but every once in a while a girl has to splurge!  When I came across this recipe on Pinterest (my favorite new addiction) I thought I had to try it out to see if it was in fact as delicious as the original.  I hope you enjoy!!

Chili's Skillet Queso

16-ounce box Velveeta Cheese
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons paprika
½ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
15-ounce can Hormel Chili (No Beans)
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon lime juice
½ teaspoon ground cumin

The real stars of the show:
Cut the Velveeta into cubes.

Combine the cheese with the remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until cheese melts.  Enjoy with tortillas!

Sweet Emory was eating his supper while I was making queso!
Then of course it was time to play with Annie!

TUG-O-WAR!!!
