Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

There are few things in life that make me as happy as homemade mac 'n cheese!  There is just nothing better! It feels like I have tried a million recipes for this dish and none have been what I was looking for until now.  So many recipes call for you to bake the mac 'n cheese in the oven but to me that always causes it to dry out so when I got down to what I really wanted I realized there was nothing wrong with just going with what I knew and what I know is that stove top mac 'n cheese is the BEST!  Here it is my friends, the most creamy, delicious macaroni and cheese (in my humble opinion of course)!

Ruthie's Homemade Mac 'N Cheese
16 oz. Velveeta Cheese
1 1/2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese
1 stick butter
1 cup Half and Half
1 pound elbow macaroni
Cook macaroni according to directions.

I don't like my macaroni al dente so I cook it a little bit longer.  Drain the noodles and melt butter in the pan where the noodles were cooked.
Return the noodles to the pan.  Add velveeta, cheddar and Half and Half.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.  Serve immediately!  It's just that easy!
