Simple Dijon Vinaigrette Dressing

 
Sometimes there is just nothing better than a really good salad, but there is also nothing that can ruin a salad faster than a bad dressing.

I really like a wide variety of salad dressings, but as I have mentioned before, I cannot stand 99% of store bought dressings!  Not only are they usually too thick or too oily, they are typically packed with sodium and processed ingredients that seem to quickly remove all healthy qualities the salad might have previously had.  

With this being said, I am always on the lookout for good dressing recipes. When I saw this one on Pinterest and then saw it again and again and again, I thought it might be worth trying so we had it with Sunday dinner and it was a hit!  If you are looking for a simple, delicious dressing you can have ready in less than 2 minutes, give this one a shot.  It is definitely one I will be making a million more times!

Simple Dijon Vinaigrette Dressing

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
salt & coarsely ground pepper to taste
Combine the ingredients in a salad dressing shaker or a small jar with a tight fitting top. 

 

  
Shake well and pour over salad.
