Baked Brie Bites

So recently I was in my friends office and we were discussing my recent trip to the Bahamas, her upcoming party she is hosting and catching up on what has been going on when she listed what she was going to be making for said party.  

She mentioned a few of the recipes from my blog, which made me incredibly proud and thrilled that she would want to use them, but then she said she was also going to do another recipe she had recently discovered.  As she listed the ingredients, brie, honey, brown sugar and pecans, I quickly took a mental note and with a dinner date already planned for that night with some friends I thought I would give it a try.  Well it was a little bit of heaven heated up in a phyllo cup!  Absolutely DELICIOUS!  

I would serve these again and again, for an appetizer, along side desserts, for breakfast or a late night snack...they are so easy and so freaking delicious!  They perfect party app for those who think they can't cook....if you can put legos together, you can make these as there is some assembly required, but that is IT!

Baked Brie Bites

mini phyllo tarts
Ile de France brie, cubed
brown sugar
chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350.
Place a cube of brie in each phyllo tart. 
Sprinkle each tart with approximately 1/2 tsp brown sugar. 
 Top with approximately 1/2 tsp chopped pecans and a dollop of honey. 
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until brie is melted. (use more or less of each ingredient according to your preference)
After only a few short moments
Annie thought it was delicious as well....
