A Healthy Chocolate Banana Pudding

So often people say to substitute different ingredients in previously sinful dishes to make it more healthy, make it not as waist-line-busting. Most of the time I just smile and say something like "Oh well isn't that creative" or "I never thought of that before" with no real intention of actually trying it. When my friend and co-worker was talking about this the other day though I was intrigued!

Since I had a few over-ripe bananas and cocoa already sitting at home I thought I would give it a try....what was the worst that could happen? I must admit, it was rather tasty, especially topped with some fresh raspberries! This definitely passes the test of healthy and delicious!

Healthy Chocolate Banana Pudding

4 ripe bananas
1 avocados
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
Combine all ingredients in a blender (taste and see what you think...I added about a tablespoon more of cocoa because I thought mine needed it) and allow to chill for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
Serve topped with fresh raspberries or strawberries, and if you are feeling a little decadent, top with some whipped cream!
I took this picture of one of the lilies that is growing from the pond out back....thought I would share since it is so pretty!!
